BDM / Account Manager

We are offering a Part-time position of 3 days a week. Salary is negotiable and will partly be determined by your experience.
The position comprises of two related roles. The first, BDM is source, liaise and manage new clients, and the second, Account Manager to liaise and manage existing clients, both in consultation with the Director.

You may work in conjunction with other staff in the development and management of clients. You will also be required to develop and manage briefs and creative direction in consultation with the Director and Senior Creative as required and/or directly with the client.

Skills / Experience

  • You will be Interacting with Senior Management and Creative Staff.
  • You will need to demonstrate at least 2 years experience in Account Management or BDM.
  • You need to have great organisational skills and be accurate with meticulous attention to detail.

WEB DEVELOPER

  • HTML (Strict Doctype) (Advanced)
  • CSS (Advanced
  • PHP Including GD2 Image Library & Regex - (Advanced)
  • MySQL (Intermediate)
  • Javascript Including both native javascript and jQuery (Intermediate)
  • Flash Including Actionscript 2 or 3 (Intermediate)

Software Experience

  • Dreamweaver (Intermediate)
  • Photoshop (Intermediate)
  • PhpMyAdmin (or similar MySQL Administration tool (Intermediate)
  • Adobe Illustrator, only brief experience needed (Beginner)

Useful Extras

  • AJAX, no particular method required
  • DNS Maintenance
  • Payment Gateway / PayPal IPN Integration
  • Experience with various Content Management Systems

INTERNSHIP AND WORK EXPERIENCE

Wide Open Media runs an internship programs for designers, developers and related disciplines. Internships are unpaid training placements, where students will be have an opportunity to see how a design practice is managed and be given expert guidance and instruction in your field by our senior managers, as working alongside professionals in their field.

Interns work on internal projects and be exposed to project work for clients during the course of their stay and can be of any length.
